âSitting is the New Smokingâ seems to be the buzz phrase of the season. Yes, sitting all day long is NOT what our bodies were created or designed for, but it is also a necessary evil. For example, many of us need to sit in a car to get to and from work and that travel can be a large percentage of our day.
Â
So, if sitting is so bad for us, how do we combat this ânew smokingâ epidemic?
The solution of the season: Standing Desks.
Â
Everywhere I look people are installing standing desks and telling me, âitâs been a week and I feel wonderful.â âA week? Wow,â I respond. âHow many weeks a year do you work?!â You should see the looks I get. So, whatâs the JĹbuFIT solution for all seasons? Learn to ...

My college roommate would make fun of the way I took my first few steps out of our dorm room each morning. Being a dance major, I began to realize the wear and tear my craft was having on my body.
