Alessa Caridi is where anatomy meets artistry. She combines anatomy expertise, Pilates precision, and corporate understanding to help busy professionals have productive workdays AND energy for life. Because your workspace should fuel your dreams, not drain them.

Growing up in a medical family shaped Alessa's understanding of the human body from an early age. While other kids colored cartoons, she colored anatomy books from her father's medical school materials. Her great-grandfather was an OBGYN who immigrated from Italy, creating a family culture that valued both health and precision.
Alessa took her first dance class at age two in NYC at the renowned Joffery Ballet school. After her family moved out of NYC, she joined a dance company and spent 20+ hours per week expanding her dance vocabulary; training in ballet, tap, contemporary, and jazz. Throughout her childhood, she performed across the US with her dance company. She earned her BA in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA, completing her Senior Thesis in Anatomy and Injury Prevention for extreme athletes. When injury ended her dance career, she discovered Pilates and pursued multiple certifications, eventually opening studios in two countries.

 

  How I Developed My Methodology

Training everyone from Marines in Okinawa to Manhattan executives, Alessa noticed the same pattern: 3pm energy crashes, chronic pain, and over-reliance on caffeine. The breakthrough came while living in Japan, observing the daily Radio Taiso practice—community movement that kept locals energized regardless of age or profession.

This sparked her mission to translate movement science for American desk workers. By combining her anatomy background, Pilates precision, and real-world corporate experience, Alessa developed her signature approach: anatomy-based workspace wellness that transforms sedentary workspaces into movement-friendly environments through micro-movements and precision positioning.

  

Through years of speaking to professionals and responding to their feedback, Alessa meticulously documented the most effective tools, tips, techniques, and common pain points. This research became the foundation for her book, The Ultimate Workspace Toolkit (available on Amazon at bit.ly/jobufittoolkit), where she compiled all her knowledge into one comprehensive resource for workplace wellness.

Today, Alessa is the go-to expert for workplace wellness, speaking at Fortune 500 companies and appearing on national media. She's been featured on Good Morning Washington, FOX Chicago, and quoted in Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Today Show Health & Wellness. As Global Health and Wellness Ambassador for Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization, she spoke at the United Nations.
